Synthesis of Novel Au(II) Dimers and Investigation of their Potential for Applications in Cancer Treatment
This invention is a method of synthesis of novel Au(II) dimer with pyridine dipyrrolinone (H2PYDP) ligands which demonstrate antiproliferative activity in ovarian cancers. This compound operates with a different mechanism than similar existing drugs allowing for novel combinational drug therapies to be created and tested.
