New Sunscreens Based on Particles Prepared from Higher Aldehydes and Phenols
This invention consists of particles that can be used as sunscreens prepared by the copolymerization of phenols with aromatic and conjugated aldehydes like cinnamaldehyde or benzaldehyde. These particles made of bio-based materials can be dispersed in liquid and function as thermosets for sun-blocking purposes.
