This technology is an approach that gives the user the ability to tune phononic crystals and acoustic metamaterials to have specific quantum computing properties.

 

Background:
Metamaterials, artificially fabricated materials in which small structures can be arranged within a material in order, can give said material new properties that are not inherent to the original material. This technology capitalizes on the ability to tune these materials and is the product of discovering the analogy between classical mechanical systems and quantum and electromagnetic phenomena.

  • Gives users the ability to develop more complex functions in phononic structures and acoustic metamaterials
