The i-Incline Green Box

Case ID:
UA19-027
Invention:

This technology is an expandable/collapsible modular system for use in vertical farms. The angle-adjustable growing boards help to expand/collapse the system, allowing for flexible maneuverability and high crop yield.

Background:
Considered by many to be the next stage in the evolution of agricultural production, vertical farming has become the next generation method to produce crops in an indoor environment. The industry standards utilize tower-like designs inside climate-controlled facilities to achieve greater crop yields than conventional farming. Unfortunately, there remains an unmet need for an optimal and convenient modular design that can adjust to fit specific volumes of space.

Applications:

  • Vertical warehouse farming
  • Produce retailer storage
  • Greenhouse farming
  • Educational school system
  • Plant factory farming

Advantages:

  • Portable
  • Provides adjustable dimensions to accommodate volume space
  • Maximizes yield of crop quality
  • Increases crop productivity
