Quantum Natural Language Processing Based AI Model

Case ID:
UA24-112
Invention:

This is a new model in artificial intelligence based on a very new technology called Quantum Natural Language Processing, which merges two major disciplines, AI/Computer Science and Physics. The AI model does natural language processing on quantum computers with weights initialized from the embeddings used in Large Language Models like GPT4, then adds up words using quantum entanglement.

Background:
While natural language processing has evolved significantly in the last several years, issues still remain in language differences, training data, complexities in language and semantic meaning, innate bias, and development challenges. Light weight AI models can train on very few data points and still get accuracy at par or higher than that of large language models. By applying AI and quantum entanglement processes to natural language processing, this has the potential to be a fundamental paradigm shift in AI.

Applications:

  • Quantum research
  • Quantum computation
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • AI development

Advantages:

  • Greater computational efficiency
  • Less data requirements
  • Fewer computational requirements
  • Greater cost efficiency/ROI
