Human Delta Opioid Receptor cDNA

Case ID:
UA94-047
Invention:

A cDNA clone containing the entire open reading fame of a human delta opioid receptor.

Background:
The delta opioid receptor is an important target for drug development. Testing drugs for activity at human delta opioid receptors requires access to appropriate tissue, which is generally unavailable. This technology enables bioactivity studies at this receptor without the tissue requirement.

Advantages:

  • Receptor bioactivity studies

Applications:

  • Drug characterization
  • Medical Applications
