Title: Chemistry by Design
Invention: This invention is a custom database of worldwide approved pharmaceutical structures, including the United States FDA, that are available for use via a commercial app.
Background: Any substance, or mixture of substances, that is planned to be an active ingredient for a drug product is classified as an active pharmaceutical ingredient. The finished dosage form is classified as a drug product. Currently, Thieme has a commercial drug database for synthesis of drug molecules, however, its price, appeal and design are problematic. This invention overcomes such issues by providing a database application that contains pharmaceutical structures with a simple and inexpensive design for users.
