Background: 
Wound debridement is the process of removing dead or unhealthy tissue from a wound in order to promote healing. This is especially common for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Currently, patients are required to physically travel to medical centers for wound debridement, leading to increased costs, time constraints, and potential delays in receiving necessary care. The proposed technology would enable healthcare professionals to remotely perform wound debridement, increasing healthcare access to underserved regions.
