Radial Streaking Artifact Reduction Using Phased Array Beamforming
This invention is a method and software for mitigating the streaking artifact in radial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). After being tested on MRI scanners and compared to current coil based methods, this new method, known as B-STAR, utilizes phased array beamforming and reduces streak artifacts without any noticeable loss in signal levels.
