TROVE: A Translational Resource for Omics-Based Validation of Expression Datasets

Case ID:
UA23-082
Invention:

Translational Resource for Omics-Based Validation of Expression (TROVE) is a solution-oriented query-able disease database that integrates various -omic data from animals and humans, reflective of the One Health paradigm. The innovation is focused on dataset integration and identification, to immediately provide targeted solutions for identified infection/immunity pathogens. This technology is also able to interface with R Bioconductor package making it simple to create data visuals for the datasets.

Background:
Currently there are few infectious disease databases that incorporate the advancements made in understanding the similarities between animals and humans and the impact we have on each other. This is the direction most pathogen research is heading towards as One Health becomes an increasingly popular way of thinking.

Applications:

  • Database
  • Translational research

Advantages:

  • Targeted solutions
  • One Health perspective
