Qordle: A Word Game to Introduce Quantum to Masses

Case ID:
UA24-224
Invention:

This is a word game to teach people about quantum theory, similar to other word-based guessing games like Wordle and Wheel of Fortune. Based on recently found connections between Quantum Physics and Human Natural Language, this game uses Quantum Natural Language Processing (QNLP) to slowly introduce and teach quantum theory concepts to non-experts.

Background:
Quantum is colloquially recognized as a highly technical and complex field of study, yet is being used increasingly in computing, communications, security, and more. There is a great need to create a quantum-literate population and develop a workforce for this emerging and growing field. This invention provides a fun, gamified learning experience to enable quantum education.

Applications:

  • Quantum education

Advantages:

  • Fun learning environment
  • Educational tool for end-users
  • Engaging geometric visual representations
  • Highly accessible
  • Cost effective
