The "How Much of Your Brain?" Tool

This is a psychological assessment tool that provides a simple way to track how much cognitive space a patient believes their thoughts to be taking up. This tool can be used by psychologists to easily visualize the psychological load patients spend on certain thoughts, particularly repetitive thoughts. It can be used with patients of all ages and repeated as often as needed to track progress and the potential effectiveness of psychological interventions strategies used with the patient.

Background: 
Psychologists currently rely on their notes to best track a patient’s behavior. The patient’s ability to succinctly verbalize their thoughts can also be a hinderance for treatment. There are no tools that make it easy to keep track of how much psychological energy a patient spends with their thoughts. This assessment tool may be used to gather data points to effectively display how a patient’s cognitive energy is spent.
