This invention is a scalable method for quantum computing using photonic qubits. Rather than using superconducting, this invention uses photons as a method of encoding a qubit making endless large-scale abilities.
Background:
As data gets bigger and expectation times for computing become shorter, there is a need to create faster computing components. In order for this to happen, a larger number of qubits must be used. This will allow for faster computing from the technology at hand. Many of the current attempts at quantum computing are not much faster or as fast as current classic algorithms. With this method, quicker and fault-tolerant computing can be achieved.
