Individuals can test at an optimal, marginal, or degraded status relative to their baseline.

Leagues like the NFL and NHL, where there are many heavy hits, continue to struggle with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of concussions. The CRT looks to solve these problems by quickly and accurately determining cognitive status in the field. Saving time in dangerous environments can save the lives of the officers or soldiers and those they are protecting. In sports, a quick and accurate test will allow teams to effectively diagnose their players to avoid long-term damage.
