This invention is an interactive studying tool designed to help students learn science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
Background:
STEM curriculum choices improve schools' competitiveness in science and technology development and are considered important in preparing students to apply their learning to the future work force. However, STEM is also difficult to teach to children. A 2011 study of STEM Smart Brief found that school districts around the nation are averaging less than half the required amount of STEM needed in classrooms. This invention is aligned with state standards to combine education and enjoyment to boost student's engagement in STEM courses.
